Today is the first show of the bead and button show. Feeling a bit sick on my stomach (all nerves) although didn;t get to much sleep last night as Wendy and I were half the night talking. We were like 2 teenage girls on school camp. LOL..

We set off to go and set up our stalls for the show, walking there on foot with all our stuff was an adventure in itself. we got there, checked in got our name tags and then we stood at the door to the show….OMG… I nearly threw up…IT WAS HUGGGGGEEE, and I mean massive. This show was bigger then any Bead show I had dome here in Australia. At this point Wendy and I looked at each other and nearly ran home. LOL. BUt we didn’t we went getting sidetracked by others setting up there stalls. Pointing at people like starstrucked teenagers. We found our “Australia Island” and started to set up. The stalll looked great, we had Australian flags along the top of the stall, some relaly nice posters of Australian scenery at the back of the stall and it looked great. Everybody commented how good the stall looked when they came over to talk to us.

Those are a couple of pictures of what our stalls looked like set up. It was all very unusual for us as we were used to booths with walls. In the US they were big fans of open spaces and no walls.

I think we did very well with our set ups considering we were restricted with weights for our luggage.
